Okay, I know I'm going to get reprimanded out here by many of you, but does anyone else notice that Sarah Palin's voice is just way too pitchy and high? I enjoy her speeches and such, but sometimes she screeches so high that it drowns out her message, and, in my opinion, she should tone down her voice/vocal levels just a bit. When she does sit-down interviews, she's much better, although the high-pitch comes and goes there too. I was prepping dinner last night with FNC on, and they showed her at the McCain event. Her voice was so loud...

Time and again it has been stated on FR and other places where conservatives speak out that the "one voice" who stands out as the real leader of this movement has not become apparent. Many turn to Sarah Palin, and she is very compelling, but still not everyone is convinced. Many other names get bandied about. FINALLY--on You Tube of all places, the real Conservative Leader who will bring the movement to success, can be seen. This is the Leader voice we are seeking. We must all get behind HIM and we will succeed! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQpzQ2RDtyU&feature=player_embedded#watch-main-area

As I watch the World Series this year, I am reminded, once again, how I miss the poetic voice of VIN SKULLY. His lyrical narrative in describing the game was very inspiring and went far beyond the sport he was observing. A talented broadcaster with a Word Paintbrush. For those who remember, here are just a few more quotes he was known for. (Please click Link for a just a brief reminder of his talent).

Cross Posted from www.niacouncil.org Washington DC Last night, the Senate voted unanimously to adopt legislation that aims to aid the ability of the Iranian people to access news and information by overcoming the electronic censorship and monitoring efforts of the Iranian government. The Victims of Iranian Censorship (VOICE) Act was introduced by Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Joseph Lieberman (ID-CT), Ted Kaufman (D-DE), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Robert Casey (D-PA) as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act. The world has been astonished and inspired by the courage of millions of Iranians pressing their regime for nothing more than...

Just a heads up to Freepers and fellow Americans. Major Japanese political monthly, now on the newsstands here in Tokyo, called "VOICE", published only in Japanese by PHP Publishing House, has a significant article breaking the news of the TRUTH of Barack Obama to the Japanese People, after months of uncritical adoration by nearly 100% of the Japanese Mass Media outlets.I hereby synopsize translate some points/subtitles of article, and provide a URL link to the Japanese site. If time permits a synop-translation may be provided on FRs. In the meantime, it is interesting to finally see these critical articles emerge...

You speak as the 7 Thunders , ( Rev 10:3-4 ) You roar as the Lion of Judah , you walk on the water with Me , You are a remnant of my loin cloth " The Tassels of My Word " , And you carry in your mouth the Jot ( Pieces ) and Tittles ( Transfiguration ) of Forgiveness and Revelation Knowledge ! Now Go ! Surrender to none ! Yet walk in humbleness and Speak my Words ! For I AM ( The realization ) you in you , I AM THAT I AM ! ! !...

Rock & Roll and Warehouses When I was 5 I asked Jesus to come into my heart. I remember it vividly. But of course, we don't understand too much at that age, so, my calling (back) came when I was 23. I was living in a friend's warehouse where a rock band that I sang for also practiced. Living the wannabe rockstar life of partying, fighting, etc. I was a rebel. One night I went to friend's apartment for a little get together. I ended up staying the night. In the morning, I found one of those big family bibles...

WASHINGTON, Feb. 24, 2009 Music is considered by many to be a universal language, and for some military veterans, it is the only language that allows them to describe their experiences in combat and their struggles afterward. Military musicians normally would struggle to have their voices heard in the cutthroat music industry, but a fellow veteran has given them a chance to get their music released and in the hands of fans worldwide. Army Capt. Sean Gilfillan, a reservist who served four years on active duty and a tour in Iraq, started To the Fallen Records in 2006. The...

Researchers say they have worked out a mathematical formula to find the perfect human voice. The study, commissioned by Post Office Telecoms, asked people to rate 50 voices then analysed the results. It found the best female voice to be a mixture of Mariella Frostrup, Dame Judi Dench and Honor Blackman. Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons did best for the men. The research was conducted by linguist Andrew Linn, of Sheffield University, and sound engineer Shannon Harris. The pair worked out their formula based on the combination of tone, speed, frequency, words per minute and intonation. They concluded the ideal...
